Customer Support

All ProLift locations are operating and providing customer support. We’ve identified key personnel to remain on-site for service, parts, rental and other business needs. Also, to maintain social distancing guidelines, several associates are working remotely and continue to assist customers during regular business hours.

Forklift parts are available at your local ProLift facility. Call in advance to have items prepped and ready for pick-up at the parts counter. We are practicing a no contact payment method.

Service technicians are providing repair and planned maintenance while following ProLift safety precautions as well as any procedures required at your facility.

For new and used equipment, our equipment specialists are available to meet online or at your site, depending on need.

Sanitizing Equipment

In our shops and at customer sites, our service technicians are wiping down equipment with Quaternary, a non-corrosive disinfectant proven more effective than bleach to combat bacteria and viruses.

Sanitizing Process:

  • Wearing PPE, our service technician will spray commonly touched areas of the forklift, including seat, control levers and steering wheel.
  • After letting the disinfectant sit according to disinfectant manufacturer recommendations, the forklift will be wiped down.
  • Upon completion of service repair or planned maintenance, our service technician will again spray down the forklift with disinfectant.
  • Forklift will be tagged with date and time of sanitizing. After an additional waiting period the forklift may be placed back into production.

Temperature Check Station

Upon arriving to any ProLift facility, associates will visit the temperature check station. All associates must self-monitor their temperature before proceeding to their work area. Any visitors to ProLift will also be directed to the station.

  • Associates will maintain a distance of 6 ft while waiting to use the temperature check station.
  • Before taking temperature, associate will use hand sanitizer and wipe down the digital thermometer with a sanitizing wipe.
  • Associate will confirm their temperature is under 100.4* F and sign acknowledgement sheet.
  • An associate with a temperature of 100.4* F or more will return to their vehicle and contact management for further direction.

Face Masks

While maintaining 6 ft social distancing remains important to slowing the spread of COVID-19, the CDC also recommends wearing a face covering as an additional public health measure to reduce the spread of the virus. A face cloth or surgical mask is not designed to protect the wearer, but it may prevent the spread of the virus from the wearer to others. This would be especially important in reducing transmission from someone who is infected but does not have symptoms to others.

In an effort to lift stay-at-home restrictions and allow businesses to reopen, the states in which we operate have put together guidelines for employers to follow. In keeping with state guidelines, our associates reporting to a ProLift facility will be expected to wear a face covering as outlined below:

  • Associates may bring their own cloth mask to work or use paper masks that are available at each store.
  • Because our facilities layout has been altered, face masks are not required when an associate works alone in an assigned work area; however, it should be worn any time the associate leaves the assigned work area.
  • Face masks are to be worn during all interactions with co-workers.
  • Associates will follow maximum capacity guidelines for areas throughout the facility, including offices and breakrooms.
